Eve became part of our family in the fall of 2011 and was Melissa’s first show basset. Eve bonded to Melissa very early on and those two have been inseparable ever since. Eve is one of those bassets that just LOVES the show ring. She can seem lazy and not very animated outside the ring, but as soon as you pull that snood off and set that show collar, she throws her head up and goes! You can not attempt to gather show equipment at the house without her getting excited and thinking that there is a show coming up. Eve was also shown by Melissa’s niece, Hannah, in both the breed ring and juniors. The two of them ended up getting Eve’s AKC CH and then Hannah achieved Eve’s AKC GCH. Sadly soon after getting her GCH, Eve got pyometra and had to be emergency spayed. Currently, she is still being shown in AKC & UKC juniors, as a veteran and in UKC altered classes. Eve attended TriDEx in March of 2019 and received her Novice Stunt Dog title. In September 2019, Eve received her Rally Novice title.
